I sent 3 pics as I was wanting to show a couple of minor modifications. The picture of the "guts" shows how I connectorized the main board to facilitate working on it in the future. This includes connectorizing the PTO inductor, which seems to have worked out well as it is stable as a rock! Also, I wanted to show the added SMA output connector on the rear panel above the power jack. This connects to U9-3 through a 5.6pf capacitor, and allows me to connect up my FCC-1 counter so I can read the operating frequency directly and continuously. If I take it somewhere where size and weight is a concern, I just leave the counter at home! The final shot is pretty grim, but Doug asked for it! Hope you can use these. It was a blast building this unit, and I am looking forward to another challenge in the future. Thanks to all who had a part in this effort!
