March 15, 2012 - The Complete QRPp Collection
In 1993, Jim Cates and I started publishing a club journal called QRPp. It
ceased publication in 2004 and we have had many, many requests to make the
information available. Chuck Adams, K7QO spent hours scanning in all of
the issues and putting them in pdf format. Every article in the entire
collection was given to the club to publish by the authors. No one was
paid, and in that spirit, QRPp is being made available on the web to
provide free access to all qrpers. We hope you enjoy it. We ask that you
use it for your own enjoyment and education. To that end permission is
granted to everyone to make archival copies, but no one has permission to
post any of the information in whole or part to any other website, nor to
make and distribute copies on CD, other than one copy for your own personal

March 12, 2012 - Bob Miller has just sent us some pictures of the
Norcal Monthly meeting where members got a chance to build on
of those little jewles from Tony Parks, a Softrock receiver.

June 8, 2011 - Norcal Reorganization
The current board of directors consist of:

The new board had a chance to meet at Dayton and we are pleased to announce
that we are all working hard to get Norcal operational once again. Darrell is
working on getting us back into Pacificon and everything is looking good.
He has lined up speakers and we have even identified a "buildathon" project.
More details will be announced soon. Dean and Dick are working to reintroduce
a kit by Pacificon (sorry, it is still a secret). Sp stay tuned for more
information about both Norcal and pacificon.
Some of these kits have limited stock. When our current inventory is sold we plan to
retire these kits for a while.
Please note that we have adjusted our pricing. Most of the kit prices have been
reduced. (In some cases, especially to DX destinations the postage cost has
increased. We regret the higher DX shipping costs, but are only charging the
USPS international postage rates rounded to the nearest dollar.)
Also please note we are a VOLUNTEER organization, we will only be shipping kits
ONE DAY A WEEK. In some cases as many as 8 or 9 days may pass BEFORE your kit
is shipped. Shipping to North American locations can take 3 to 5 days after
mailing. Shipping to DX locations may take 6 to 10 days or longer after mailing.
PLEASE allow up to two weeks to receive your kit in North America and as much
as three or four weeks to some DX locations.
NorCal QRP Club will be opening kit sales for the 2n2-20, 2n2-30, 2n2-40 and
NorCal Power Meter in the coming weeks. Again some of these kits have limited
stock and will be retired after current stock is sold.
Watch for additional announcements in the coming weeks regarding online sales of these kits.
